At each worship service, we have a brief time to meet and greet those around you. This casual encounter helps to make connections with people later during Social Hour. At least someone will be a bit more familiar.
The worship experience is only one way of getting to know our congregation. Look for other opportunities: covenant groups (our program of small groups, usually meeting in members’ homes); religious education for children, youth, and adults; or other groups that match your interests – Young Adults, Alliance, Interweave, Social Justice, Fellowship Dinners, Sustainable Living, Choir, and more.
Making your way in this congregation means finding a niche, making friends, and discerning a way to serve the larger world. Once you have had some time to explore the congregation, you might want to consider membership. Talk with one of the ministers and attend our first Sunday after-service offering of "Newcomer Orientation" and our third Sunday after-service offering "Invitation to Membership" session.
