Our caring ministry is a critical part of our church mission.

We have four lay-led pastoral care teams that provide support for members and friends of the congregation: 

• The Caring Cards Team sends cards and notes of condolence or celebration
• The Transportation Team arranges for rides to church services and events, to medical appointments, or to other important activities
• The Meals Team arranges meal trains for individuals who need food delivered to their homes
• The Memorial Service team assists with receptions after memorial services conducted at First Unitarian

In addition, our congregation offers various forms of support for members and friends as well as their families and the larger Oklahoma City community, including:

• Prayer requests
• Financial support from the Minister’s Discretionary Fund
• Call from the minister
