The power struggles waged by White Supremacy and Christian Nationalism are played out on bodies: women’s bodies, trans bodies, disabled bodies, Black, Indigenous, and of Color bodies… On the anniversary of Roe v Wade, we consider how besieged bodies can also be sites of beauty, courage, and joy, and how UU theology (with its celebration of all kinds of bodies and bodily autonomy) offers a ground of resistance.
