Note: special time! 10:00 am
Today, we visit the historic Arlington St. Church in Boston. Founded in 1729, Arlington Street Church’s ministers have included two presidents of the AUA/UUA, as well as William Ellery Channing. In 2004, the first state and church-sanctioned same-gender marriage was performed in their sanctuary.
Today’s speaker is Rev. Fred Small. Rev. Small is Director of Faith in Action at Massachusetts Interfaith Power & Light and Minister for Climate Justice at Arlington Street Church, Boston.
A Unitarian Universalist parish minister for nearly two decades, Fred is also a singer-songwriter and environmental lawyer. In 2015 he left parish ministry to devote his energies to advocating and organizing for environmental, racial, and climate justice.
