Unitarian Universalists affirm that all souls are sacred and worthy and that truth continues to be revealed. But advances in artificial intelligence complicate these principles. Can artificial intelligence also be sacred? If so, what implications does this have for our social justice work and for our desire to “widen the circle of concern?” And what about truth? What might truth and meaning be for sentient cyborgs?
