Picnic (The Theology of Relationship)

Our theme for this church year is “Widening the Circle of Concern.”* We kick things off this month with a focus on the empowering legacy of Unitarian Universalist theology. This Labor Day Sunday, we’ll celebrate our theology of relationship, our commitment to inclusion and interdependence, through the metaphor of a church picnic. Join us for stories and songs and please come dressed in your best fancy summer picnic clothes. We’re hoping to see lots of brightly colored sunhats! We’re also asking everyone to share their favorite picnic recipe and we’re strongly encouraging you to EAT during the service! In fact, we’ll be incorporating food into the service so please bring at least something to nibble on.

*Widening the Circle of Concern is the title of the report of the 2020 UUA Commission on Institutional Change.
