Our seventh principle affirms the interdependent web of all existence. Often, we consider this principle through the lens of a human-centered ecology, or as humans at the center of an interdependent web, human agents or observers within nature. Where does interdependence fall on the continuum between independence and co-dependence? How can learning to embrace true interdependence help us to thrive in the face of challenges ranging from the end of a romance to the grief of climate change?
