Bullies don’t just go away. Their legacies don’t just disappear. The bully must be confronted intentionally, his impact named and addressed. Even so, it seems there’s no clear consensus on how to deal with the bully on our blocks. – DeRay McKesson
How do we respond to the grown-up bullies who seem determined to cause harm to those who are already marginalized and struggling in our society? Do we try to ignore them? Do we match their violence with more violence? Do we attempt to love them into positive change? How do we achieve the world we want to see when we are fighting so hard just to keep fighting?
